Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your order, but if for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we do accept eligible returns and exchanges within 21 days of your purchase date.

Please note that returns or exchanges outside the 21 day return window will not be accepted, refunded or mailed back. 

Below are more details to help you determine if you're eligible for a return or exchange. 

*Eligible Returns & Exchanges:

Size Exchange - Prior to purchasing, we encourage you to closely review sizing charts to ensure the best fit and compare to something you already have that is similar in brand and style to avoid the need for an exchange due to size. 

  • Please email us at: info@headforthetrails.com and include your order number and the new size you would like. 
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. The fee for a return shipping label will be deducted from your refund. We must receive your original item before the new item can be sent out. 
  • Return merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags/stickers attached.  

Received the Wrong Item

  • Please email us at: info@headforthetrails.com and include your order number along with a photo of the full front side of the incorrect item you received and we'll investigate and resolve the issue. 

Received Defective Item

  • Please email us at: info@headforthetrails.com and include your order number along with a photo of the full front side of the defective item you received and we'll investigate and resolve the issue. 
*Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

 Ineligible Returns & Exchanges:

  • The item has been worn or washed. 
  • The item has been altered in any way. 
  • The item does not have the original tags/stickers on it. 
  • It is outside of the 21 day window. 
  • Sale items and e-gift cards cannot be exchanged/returned or refunded. 

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving your item. Please note, the fee for a return shipping label will be deducted from your refund. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with our policies. Once we've issued a refund, you will need to contact your bank for updates on the refund.
