Our Story

 

Hello Hiking Fam!  Thanks for stopping in and learning a little about us. We are a family of passionate hikers. Hiking has brought us closer together and led us on a mission to explore and hike at least one National Park per year, although if we can make it work we will visit more. We keep a National Parks Passport Book and get it stamped each time we visit a Nationl Park. As of early 2024, we have visited 11 National Parks, two National Monuments and one National Forest. Nature is our playground, and the trails we hike create some of our favorite stories together.

We found that while struggling to get through that last mile of a hike we often cross paths with fellow hikers sporting clever, witty t-shirts about hiking. These chance encounters often sparked conversations, turning fatigue into laughter and shared stories.

Inspired by these moments, along with a need be creative and have fun while doing so, we launched Head for the Trails in 2024! Our passion for hiking, respect for nature, and the joy of shared trails led us here. We want to inspire and equip individuals to embrace the joy and healing power of nature, and foster a community of like-minded souls who appreciate the simple beauty of a hike; all with a bit of humor and a touch of sarcasm! 

With comfortable and stylish apparel featuring nature-inspired graphics and witty sayings, we want every hiker to feel a connection with nature. Whether you're gearing up for a new trail or reminiscing about past adventures, we hope Head for the Trails can be a part of your journey.
